Hands-On
Agricultural Experience
My journey in agriculture began at a young age through the equine industry. At eight years old, I took my first riding lesson after my momma found a Groupon coupon for a local barn, and from that moment forward, I was deeply connected to horses. What began as curiosity quickly became long-term commitment, shaping both my personal and professional direction.
Throughout my youth and teenage years, I continued working within equine environments, riding and training across multiple disciplines including show jumping and eventing. As my experience grew, so did my responsibility, leading me to pursue agriculture not only hands-on, but professionally. This evolution later expanded into entrepreneurship through the development of two digital equine platforms, EqueTrainer and GiddeeUp, both designed to support education, management, and access within the equine industry.
In addition to equine work, I have gained hands-on experience with cattle and other livestock, further broadening my understanding of agricultural operations and animal care. I also previously worked as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic, gaining exposure to animal health, clinical environments, and the importance of precision and accountability in agricultural care.
I currently own two horses, Rocky and Ollie. Ollie is my childhood horse, while Rocky is my current competition and training horse.
Today, I continue my hands-on involvement in agriculture while working alongside horse trainer Henry Merrill at a Mustang ranch, gaining additional experience in training environments, livestock management, and professional agricultural operations.

Leadership and Education
My agricultural experience extends beyond daily work into leadership, education, and industry involvement. I was actively involved in FFA throughout high school, where I competed, developed Supervised Agricultural Experiences, and built early professionalism through hands-on projects and leadership opportunities. These experiences included the early development of my digital equine ventures as well as work across multiple cattle and equine operations.
I carried this foundation into college at the University of Missouri–Columbia, where I am majoring in General Agriculture within the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. My coursework and applied learning have expanded my experience across both small and large livestock systems, strengthening my understanding of agriculture from practical, scientific, and operational perspectives.

Why
Agriculture
Matters
Agriculture taught me discipline, consistency, and accountability—skills that directly influence how I work, create, and collaborate. These experiences are not separate from my professional life; they are the foundation of it. Agriculture continues to shape how I approach responsibility, leadership, and long-term growth across every space I operate in.
